Tower Bridge is falling down!!!
Yes, we spent a long time demolishing the finished article (below) following the raffle draw that took place yesterday, Thursday 20th August.

The draw was conducted by Dr Todd Swift, a great supporter of Oxfam Marylebone. The winning ticket was Pink 102, purchased in the shop by Jeanne. She has been contacted.

The second prize, a family ticket to tour the (real) Tower Bridge engine rooms was won by Yellow 482, a ticket purchased on ebay by crap.in.the.attic. He has been notified. Below is a photo of the draw being made.

Many thanks to all those who helped in the construction by buying tickets, in the shop and online. We hope to run a similar promotion in the future. The construction raised £943 for Oxfam to use in its work, and provided a long-running attraction in our shop window.

The draw for the raffle will take place in the next few days. Keep your tickets handy!

Saturday 7 July 2012

It's very nearly finished! One and a half suspension cables done, two more to do. Then it's only the vehicles. Just a few more weeks...

Tuesday 12 June 2012

Everything is proceeding, slightly slowly...
We're now on the first of the suspension cables. When they're complete, it's just the cars and buses to do. We're nearly there...

Tuesday 8 May 2012

Yes, we're still going!
Nearing completion of the towers. Then it's on to the suspension cables and road...

Saturday 31 March 2012

It's been a labour of love, but we're nearing the end. One roof is largely complete. Another few weeks should do it!

Saturday 10 March 2012

The second walkway is almost complete. Just the roofs and suspension cables to go. And the cars and buses...
